Simone è un bambino con una pancia “gon-fia come un’arancia” e un maestro di soste-gno, Salvatore, che gli insegna a trovare la sua forza. In un istituto di Francofonte, pa-tria delle arance, un’emergenza con uno spremiagrumi rivela l’insospettabile talento di Simone. Anni dopo, l’incontro casuale tra il ragazzo che lavora tra le arance e il suo ex maestro, ancora “precario”, riapre un capitolo sulla diversità, l’affetto e i ricordi che non svaniscono.
Simone is a child with a belly “swollen like an orange” and a support teacher, Salvatore, who helps him find his strength. In an institute in Francofonte, home of the oran-ges, a juicer emergency reveals Simone’s unsuspected talent. Years later, a chance encounter between the young man working amongst the oranges and his former teacher, still “precarious”, reopens a chapter on difference, affection, and memories that do not fade.
